Restorative Practice Wednesdays (January-April)

A weekly gathering to explore restorative practices through peer-led activities and meal sharing. Each week, five volunteers sign up in advance to facilitate, meal prep, and clean up. Once a month, participants can volunteer at a local community meal. Format will evolve with feedback.

About the event
What is restorative practice? “A tool for building community, strengthening relationships, and addressing difficult situations. It actively engages individuals in the process of building community and provides opportunities to address challenging issues and restore trust. Restorative practices are rooted in ancient and indigenous from various cultures around the world.”

INVESTMENT
There is no formal cost to participate. Chefs each week will cover costs of the meal they prepare. If possible, please offer dāna (generosity in Buddhist culture) to Mid City Zen, which has graciously offered space and runs on donations.
