This policy page outlines the guidelines and expectations for our members and participants in our events.

Participation

PS NOLA hosts a variety of events, discussions, retreats and other gatherings designed to educate, inspire, and connect our community. Participation in these events requires adherence to the following guidelines:

Code of Conduct

To maintain a supportive and respectful community, all members are expected to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Respect: Treat all participants with respect and courtesy and support others in their personal journeys without judgment or coercion

  • Inclusivity: Embrace diversity and foster an inclusive environment.

  • Safety: Prioritize the safety and well-being of all attendees and agree to use good judgement and bring a harm reduction philosophy to our space.

  • Privacy: What happens here, stays here. We respect the discretion and confidentiality of all members.

  • Substance Free: Meetings are substance free and we ask that people refrain from bringing/distributing/selling any substances during our meetings.

  • Interactions: Facilitators, members, hosts, guest speakers, and other affiliates with PSNOLA are not responsible for the connections and networking formed at the group meetings or for the validity of any information shared. Please do your own research and use your judgment for all encounters and above all, be mindful of your psychological, spiritual, physical, and mental health. Engage in open and honest communication and avoid language that is harmful, discriminatory, or inflammatory.

  • Conflicts: All attendees are encouraged to take an active role in creating and maintaining a safe 'container' for discussions to thrive, including recognizing the diversity of views that may be presented and peacefully mediating any conflicts that may arise.

Event Registration

  • Members are encouraged to register early to secure their spot.

  • Non-members may attend public events but are subject to higher fees.

Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Respect the privacy of other members and participants.

  • Do not share personal information or experiences of others without consent.

Contribution

  • Actively contribute to the community through participation and sharing of knowledge.

  • Volunteer for events and initiatives to help grow and sustain PS NOLA.

Amendments

PS NOLA reserves the right to amend these policies as necessary. Any changes or updates will be posted on our website.

PS NOLA does not encourage or condone any illegal activities. We recognize that integrating a transformative experience needs care, love, understanding, and support. We take a harm reduction approach to promote accurate information, education, and safety. 

 

PS NOLA meetings are substance free and we ask that people refrain from bringing, distributing or selling any substances during our meetings or events. This is not a place to seek or participate in the procurement of controlled substances. You agree that you will not contact us for such items and will not engage in any such activities during your participation in any PS NOLA event. 

We provide a platform to discuss experiences that offer education and transformation in our lives. You acknowledge that any information we provide is for educational purposes only and is not intended to be a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
